Dr Peter Norton BDS (Adel)

Dr Norton graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2004 where he was admitted to the Dean’s List and received academic prizes in Prosthodontics and Dental Clinical Practice.

Peter currently divides his time between rural and metropolitan practices,  He is a regular host, interviewer and moderator for digital CPD events and is a clinical media advisor to the Australian Dental Association.  When not practicing dentistry – Peter enjoys social tennis and volleyball.

Dr Chris Sanzaro: ADA Deputy Chair/Vice-President & Board Director

Deputy Chair/Vice-President & Board Director ADA Inc. Principal dentist and director of The Dental Surgery Newstead, in Tasmania’s Launceston, Dr Chris Sanzaro brings his experience from South Australia, Victoria and Queensland to his position on the Board of the ADA. In his dental practice, Chris enjoys working with children & adults and has a strong interest in prevention, complex case management, and working with specialist dentists to achieve the best outcomes. Chris’s philosophy for treating patients is that ‘long term goals form the treatment plan for the short-term’.

Greer Williams - Director and Practice Manager: The Dental Surgery, Newstead

Currently the director and practice manager at The Dental Surgery, Newstead, a locally owned and operated general practice situated in Northern Tasmania, Greer Williams initially joined the practice in 2011, first completing a Certificate III in Dental Assisting, and then a Certificate IV in Professional Practice Management. She firmly believes that the role of manager is to support and empower employees to be the best versions of themselves. This in turn fuels the practice both culturally and from a skills perspective. Greer also has a strong understanding of clinical dentistry, which assists her in providing high-level clinical support to both staff and patients.

Tiarne Mitchell - People & Service Advisory Manager ADA HR Assured.

Tiarne Mitchell is a qualified HR professional at Citation Group working as the People & Service Advisory Manager. She regularly provides advice to a large range of clients about workplace laws and the management of complex workplace matters.

Natalie Katers - Board Committee Member, Dental Assistants’ Professional Assoc.

Dental Assistants’ Professional Assoc. Board Committee Member. Natalie is a current Board Member of The Dental Assistants Professional Association. Her dental career spans 25 years, from Dental Assisting to a Dental Hygienist. She has advanced skills in Orofacial Myology and TMD/OSA and has worked as a Senior Educator to both the Tafe & Higher Education sectors.

She has been instrumental in the development and release of numerous Dental Assisting programs and continues to sit on various committees representing The Dental Assistants Professional Association. As a board member Natalie has a focus to build the Dental Assisting profession, by creating career pathways and supporting the role within the dental clinic.
