Emeritus Professor Laurence Walsh AO

Emeritus Professor Laurie Walsh AO is a specialist in special needs dentistry who has been on the academic staff of the University of Queensland for over 40 years.  Laurie has been involved in research and infection control and microbiology for over 30 years, and has served on the ADA’s Infection Control Committee for over 25 years.  He was the editor of the second to fourth editions of the ADA Infection Control Guidelines and supporting resources.  Laurie serves on several committees of Standard Australia involved in PPE and instrument reprocessing.

Associate Professor Sharon Liberali

Assoc Prof Sharon Liberali is a specialist in special needs dentistry. She is the Director and Senior Consultant of the Special Needs Unit of the Adelaide Dental Hospital, an honorary Associate Dental Consultant at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and convenes the undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Geriatric and Special Needs Dentistry at the Adelaide Dental School.  Sharon is also the Principal Dentist of Health Partners Dental, SA’s largest private dental practice, the past chair of the ADA Inc. Infection Control Committee, and is a member of Standards Australia committee HE-023 (instrument reprocessing).​

Mr Wes O'Donnell - HR Assured

A highly experienced Workplace Relations Consultant and solicitor with more than 10 years’ experience in senior roles in Sydney and London, Mr Wes O’Donnell has a long history leading HR Assured’s advice service for industry associations and franchise networks. Utilising a combination of strong working relationships with association leaders, insights gleamed from trends in advisory data, and a deep understanding of industry drivers, Wes adeptly delivers the best possible value to members in managing their people and meeting best-practice standards.

Dr Peter Norton

Peter graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2004. He works in private practice in rural and metropolitan New South Wales, with particular interest in preventive and restorative dentistry. Peter is a regular host, interviewer and moderator for digital CPD events, and is a Clinical Media Advisor and Committee Consultant to the Australian Dental Association.
