Professor Laurie Walsh AO - Chair ADA Infection Control Committee

Laurie is a specialist in special needs dentistry who holds a personal chair in Dental Science at the University of Queensland. Laurie is the chair of the ADA’s Infection Control Committee, and is the editor of the second, third and fourth editions of the ADA  Guidelines for Infection Control and the 2015 Practical Guide to Infection Control. Laurie has served as an infection control consultant to a range of government and private sector organisations.

Emma studied at The Australasian College for Infection Prevention and Control where she completed the Foundations of Infection Prevention and Control. With over 17 years’ experience in dental Emma is now hosting webinars, training and delivering expertise on products in the Infection Control Category Manager role for Henry Schein Australia.

Dr Peter Norton - ADA Interact Host

Peter graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2004. He works in private practice in rural and metropolitan New South Wales, with particular interest in preventive and restorative dentistry.

Peter is a regular host, interviewer and moderator for digital CPD events, and is a Clinical Media Advisor and Committee Consultant to the Australian Dental Association.
