Peter graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2004. He works in private practice in rural and metropolitan New South Wales, with particular interest in preventive and restorative dentistry. Peter is a regular host, interviewer and moderator for digital CPD events, and is a Clinical Media Advisor and Committee Consultant to the Australian Dental Association.

Damian Mitsch - CEO, Australian Dental Association

Damian is a career association professional who has held executive roles in some of Australia’s largest allied health membership organisations. Responsible for the overall management of the ADA, Damian has had previous company directorship experience including positions on the Board of Austin Health, The Butterfly Foundation, Chair of the National Primary Health Care Partnership, a director of Allied Health Professions Australia and President of The Bridge Inc. He is passionate about innovation, change and leadership and holds an MBA and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Matthew Cridland - Partner, K&L Gates

Matthew is a partner in the tax team of K&L Gates, a global law firm. He is based in Sydney and focusses exclusively on GST and state tax issues nationally, including payroll tax. He has been in practice for more than 24 years. He is a member of The Tax Institute of Australia and is a Chartered Tax Adviser. Matthew is a contributor to the Australian Financial Review and regularly writes opinion pieces on state tax issues. He has a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Tasmania and a Master of Laws from the University of Sydney. He advises clients on transactions and also assists clients to manage audits and disputes, including acting on tax litigation matters.

Heath Stewart - Director, Ecovis Clark Jacobs

Heath is a Director of the firm and has over 20 years’ experience in practice, working in business services, taxation, audit and consulting.  He has developed a specialisation in the medical and dental industries but actively engages with clients in a broad range of industries including publishing, professional consulting, legal practices, building, construction, civil contracting and manufacturing.  Heath supervises the firms’ audit and assurance engagements, including litigation support, and sits on the Ecovis International Marketing Board.  He likes to work together with his clients tailoring our service to the client’s specific individual needs, which includes industry KPI comparison, forecasting, projections, financing and efficient tax structuring.
