Dr Peter Norton - Host

Peter graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2004. He works in private practice in rural and metropolitan New South Wales, with particular interest in preventive and restorative dentistry. Peter is a regular host, interviewer and moderator for digital CPD events, and is a Clinical Media Advisor and Committee Consultant to the Australian Dental Association.

Nadia Rosin - CEO, Head & Neck Cancer Australia

Nadia is the CEO of Head and Neck Cancer Australia and has over 15 years experience working across the not for profit health sector and NSW State Government.  Nadia has extensive experience in digital marketing and communications, strategic planning, project management and stakeholder engagement.  Nadia was part of the team to launch Head and Neck Cancer Australia in 2016 (formerly Beyond Five), the first national charity in Australia dedicated to providing education and support to people affected by Head and Neck Cancer. Nadia is passionate about collaborating with key stakeholders to provide evidence-based information and support to patients, carers and health care professionals, raising awareness of Head and Neck Cancer and advocating for Head and Neck Cancer to form part of the public sector funding and health policy agenda.

Dr Felix Sim

Dr. Felix Sim is a specialist Oral & Maxillofacial surgeon managing problems involving the face, neck and jaws. These include removal of third molars (wisdom teeth), complex extractions, orthodontic exposure of teeth, placement of dental and zygomatic implants, grafting procedures, orthognathic surgery and management of oral pathology and facial trauma.  He also sub-specialises in oral cancer and reconstructive surgery of the jaws using microvascular free tissue transfer.

A/Prof Puma Sundaresan

Clinical Associate Professor Puma Sundaresan is an experienced consultant radiation oncologist with clinical and research interests in head and neck, skin, lower gastrointestinal and haematological malignancies. She is passionate about research into health services, treatment related decision making by patients and clinicians, patient reported outcomes as well as quality of life and survivorship following cancer treatment.  Puma is the Chair of the Board of Directors of Head and Neck Cancer Australia, an elected Director on the Board of the Trans-Tasman Radiation Oncology Group (TROG) and a Council Member of the Clinical Oncology Society of Australia. She has served on the scientific committee of TROG (2014 – 2022), Cancer Symptom Trials Group’s Management Advisory Board (2018 – 2022) and the Radiation Oncology Research Committee of the RANZCR from 2016 – 2019. She has been an Associate Editor and reviewer for multiple international peer reviewed journals. She has convened and presented at various national / international conferences and has authored over 60 peer reviewed journal manuscripts, multiple book chapters and several International and local guidelines.
