Dr Peter Norton BDS (Adel)

Dr Norton graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2004 where he was admitted to the Dean’s List and received academic prizes in Prosthodontics and Dental Clinical Practice.

Peter currently divides his time between rural and metropolitan practices,  He is a regular host, interviewer and moderator for digital CPD events and is a clinical media advisor to the Australian Dental Association.  When not practicing dentistry – Peter enjoys social tennis and volleyball.

Professor Ivan Darby BDS(Glas) PhD FRACDS(Perio) DGDP RCSEng FADI FICD FPFA

The head and chair of Periodontics at Melbourne Dental School, Prof Ivan Darby has run the postgraduate periodontics program for 15 years, in addition to working in private specialist practice. An active researcher with interest in periodontal microbiology and pathogenesis and implant outcomes, Ivan is the editor of the Australian Society of Periodontology’s journal and the current Federal President of the ASP. Recently, he has been a chief investigator on the EviDent “Say Ah” project looking at medical and patient knowledge and management of halitosis.

Dr Phyllis Lau BpharmSci (hons), GradDip Pharm Sci, PhD.

Phyllis is a Senior Research Fellow and Department of General Practice, Melbourne Medical School.  She graduated B Pharm (Hons) and PhD from Monash Uni. Phyllis has been awarded several research grants including two National Health and Medical Research (NHMRC) grants ad Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) awards. She is currently the Lead of the China Program in Primary Care. She is Honorary Research Advisor for the Department of Emergency Medicine and Department of General Medicine at the Peking Union Medical College Hospital in Beijing, Honorary Research Advisor for the Hospital Authority New Territories West Cluster in Hong Kong and visiting academic for the university of Malaya in Malaysia.
