Synopsis

Ideally, avulsed teeth should be replanted as soon as possible. However, this does not often occur as the general public are often reluctant to replant the tooth, they don’t know how to replant it; they are afraid of hurting the victim of the accident, or they don’t know that it should be replanted.  Hence, delayed replantation when the victim finally sees a dentist is a common occurrence.
